Memory studies research is integral to the study of national identities. The journal, National Identities, has featured work in this area since its inaugural volume in 1999. Since then, National Identities has produced numerous articles on the significance of memory studies to national identities. This roundtable intends to introduce the participants in this Memory Studies conference to National Identities. We will discuss the best ways to contribute articles to the journal and to consider some possible special issues which might emerge on national identity and memory. To start the conversation, we will briefly review some of the memory-related articles which have appeared in National Identities and how these fit within the aims and scopes of the journal. This will be followed by considering the best ways for participants to contribute to the journal.
