Memory Studies Review Launch Reception

Memory Studies Review is a new interdisciplinary venue for innovative research in the field of memory studies. The journal is invested in exploring the ways in which the individual and collective, social and psychological, political and cultural dimensions of memory interact with understanding of time, space, place, and scale.

The Editors-in-Chief of this exciting new journal are Erol Gülüm, John Greaney, Paul Leworthy, Justyna Tabaszewska and Hanna Teichler. The Editor responsible for the journal at BRILL is Masja Horn.

At the launch event, the Editors-in-Chief will briefly introduce Memory Studies Review, talking about the journal's aims, plans for the first few issues and the publishing process. We'll provide drinks and snacks, offering an opportunity to socialize with colleagues and meet with the editors.

Directly after the launch, the Editors-in-Chief will host a panel at 3.45pm on 'Memory and Environment'. We warmly invite you to join us for this panel, which will explore the theme of our first issue.
