This plenary session offers a reflection on the significance of Argentina's dynamic culture of memory, truth and justice over 40 years of uninterrupted democracy. It does so through a chorus of voices that resonate from different locations and subject positions in the present. During this plenary session, hosted with the Argentine Embassy in London, Argentine artists, activists and academics residing on both sides of the Atlantic offer their experiences and thoughts of four decades of ongoing struggle for memory truth and justice in Argentina. The idea of this session is to capture the rich symphony of perspectives and experiences in relation to the memory of dictatorship and four decades of democracy.

The session will also be attended and introduced by His Excellency Javier Figueroa, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the United Kingdom.
